Delivery delays due to shop refurbishment August 17, 2019 11:39
You may have seen on our facebook page that we are closing our shop for refurbishment. We are excited to bring you a new and improved retail shop with better lighting, new decoration, heating and more! We regularly work for commercial clients on shop fit outs and decided that it's about time to do our own. We look forward to being able to showcase our interior design skills and create an even more beautiful space for you to explore our products in.
Therefore there may be some delays with postage this coming week, all online orders received before 6am on Monday 19th will be dispatched on Monday 19th. Any orders received after 6am on 19th are unlikely to be posted until Monday 26th. We apologise any inconvenience this may cause but hope that you'll understand. We are a small family business and packing the whole shop into boxes, renovating an old building with new electrics, plumbing, flooring and decorating is challenging, let alone to complete it within 4 days. It's going to be busy!

You know that we love recycling, upcycling and repurposing here at La Di Da Interiors. This week we have introduced our new recycled gin balloon glasses which have been a massive hit with customers. We of course thoroughly tested them prior to stocking and can confidently say that they’re fabulous for a good large gin and tonic.
We repurpose as much of our supplier packaging as possible – if you’ve ever ordered from us for delivery you will know that we don’t have posh packaging but we believe it’s what’s inside the parcel that counts, not how shiny the box looks on arrival. It cuts down on cost and is good for the environment too. This week we had our new paint bags (for courier deliveries) arrive which are now 100% recycled plastic too. In store we only have paper bags now, although we have noticed that the recycled, reusable plastic bags are still a popular product.
Reusing sits higher on the waste hierarchy than recycling. In 2016 the European average recycling rate was estimated to the 54% and the reuse rate was estimated at 7%*
We work closely with our suppliers and have been working on how to reuse more often. We are therefore delighted to announce that we are now the exclusive return point for Wessex Spirits. Simply return your Wessex Spirits bottle (Test Valley Gin, Spire Gin or Solstice Gin) to our shop and receive £1 off the purchase of your next bottle**. The returned bottles will be cleaned and sanitised and re-filled and reused.

I’m so excited to be part of this scheme - what a great idea! At Wessex Spirits we try to do our bit and like La Di Da we reuse as much packaging and reduce waste as much as possible.

Saturday 7th July we have three hours of demo's planned, this is the only event he currently has planned for the South of England, we are honoured to host him. Covering a variety of techniques such as faded grandeur, ombre and colour blending there is also a Q&A section so you can get your questions answered. Tea and cake is also included in the ticket price along with a goody bag including vouchers and notes.

A week with Annie Sloan in Oxford Oktober 3, 2017 17:56
As an Annie Sloan Chalk Paint stockist I have been trained to teach workshops by Annie Sloan. Upcycling furniture is a fabulous part to our business that I enjoy immensely, we upcycle vintage furniture for sale in the shop and online, we've sold pieces to new homes all over the UK, and even sent one sideboard as far as Germany.
Recently I was fortunate enough to be selected as 1 of 18 stockists to spend a week with Annie at Chalk Paint HQ in Oxford. There are over 1700 stockists worldwide as as the only Brit along I felt honoured.
We spent a week experimenting with paint, block printing fabric, up cycling vintage chairs, studying colour theory in interior design, making clocks, eating fabulous food and learning about instagram and it's impact in interiors design.
I made some fabulous friends along the way with people travelling from Greece, Holland, France, the USA, and New Zealand to be there (I felt almost lazy driving an hour along the A34)
Annie is a fabulous lady, talented, savvy, inspirational and hugely supportive. She truly is my mentor.
My resolution this year was to really push myself as an artisan painter, my week with Annie has helped me to push my paint work to another level.

This Friday it's the Andover Christmas Lights switch on and we are open until 8pm with mulled wine and stollen for our customers. We are at the Norman Court School Fair in the morning, so sorry the shop will not open until 2pm. We hope to see you, help with your Xmas ideas and really get into the spirit of the season!

Welcome to our new look website!
Along with building the website, over the summer we have found some fabulous new suppliers, from up cycled cashmere from Turtle Doves to sparkly gorgeous cards hand finished by Willow James, we aim to stock the majority of our products from independent UK artists, craftspeople and British small businesses!
The aim of our new website is to enable you to quickly find exactly what you are looking for, whether its accessories for the home, garden furniture or a gift for someone special.
Customers locally and nationwide can now purchase our lovely products online. Some of the heavier or delicate items are only ever available in our shop but the majority (including the ever popular, large and heavy garden mirrors!) are available to ship via a courier.
